With a potential first-in-class product in dermatology nearing launch, a robust real-world evidence (RWE) generation plan is needed to support the product launch and marketing strategy. The objective of building a 5-year RWE business plan will provide support to other products and indications in the company’s dermatology pipeline


Optimized Insight

Key insights from our RWE literature review and analyses of internal country market priorities helped - identify primary RWE data gaps, and - potential data sources/study administrators that the client could collaborate to fill the data gaps.


Calibrated Strategy

- Conducted a data needs analysis for each country market to understand the top data priorities for the client - Designed a Gap Map by bridging the data priorities with a thorough literature review of existing RWE data sources


Unsurpassed Execution

- Circulated a list of internally identified RWE data elements among all participating country market colleagues to determine prioritization of needs and urgency of data - Conducted a literature review of all RWE data sources (registries, claims data, surveys etc.) available globally for the product’s indication - Integrated the above 2 steps with a Gap Map that matched the countries’ needs prioritization with data source review - Created a Business case summarizing the budget priorities and key next steps to support the client’s RWE plan


Significant Outcomes

- Insights and Recommendations presented to the client executive team and discussions for RWE budgetary allocation/decision are under way
